Phil's Southern Get-Together

The TSA-Bash began as a little shindig. An idea was tossed about on IRC about meeting each other in real life. It was mostly a dream for many and no one really came to the forefront to say they would host...until Phil came along. He decided to hold a little get-together for TSAers known as "Phil's Southern Get-Together". He posted his idea to the mailing list and suddenly everyone was interested in the idea. Everyone wanted to talk about the get-together! Then, come the beginning of August 1998, Phil opened his house to everyone who was willing to get down to Tennessee. He figured that the get-together wouldn't be a failure if three people showed up. But, lo and behold, nearly 20 people showed up!
At the end of the party, it was a mutual agreement that something like this should be done in the future.

- Here's Weremoose. "Where did those gremlins I put in Fish's camera go?" he asks. "They're supposed to be back here in my camera."
- It's Phil! He's the one who started the Bash saga, and now he's created a monster. >;-)
- A monster such as Frinkenstein. Frinkenstein is...how should I say this? Frinkenstein is Frinkenstein. It's a story collaboration where people just shout out lines and a story is created.
- Afterwards, Phil is treated to an alcoholic carrot beverage. He describes it as "not bad."
- In the midst of the get-together, Rhino stares intently into the camera, scaring the poor Weremoose.
- So, as revenge, Weremoose calls upon Wiggy the Wigamalefis. Wiggy is a blue monster whom scares away possessed bookbags and programs in UNIX (long story).
- What shall people do that travel hundreds, maybe even thousands of miles to see people that they've only met over the computer? Why, hover around the computer, of course! Here, we see Zilvara chatting on IRC, while everyone else messes with Phil's computer while he's not looking.
- Ahh, the Tennesseean Sunset. Well, it looked nice in real life. Digital cameras of the 90s weren't none to powerful. :-)
