Well, unfortunately, you cannot win them all. The Days Inn in Hazelwood, Missouri was.. well, how should I put this? It was certainly not up-to-par with the Days Inn in Elgin, Illinois. From blown-out lightbulbs to broken toilets causing a room to smell like raw sewage, to the over-all "There's nothing we can do about it" type of attitude of the hotel staff.
But, the TSA-Bash isn't about the hotel or the incompetence of the staff; it is about the attendees and the various trips that we go on. And, of that aspect of the bash, it was a blast! We visited the St. Louis Zoo, the Museum of Transportation (they've got the largest diesel locomotive ever!), and we played Mao...oh yes, we played Mao...
